Sea Ridge Farms
provides instruction for English and Western disciplines of
riding. Our students range in age from 5 years old to
adult. We allow students to learn at their own pace in
a nurturing and professional environment. Our goal is
to instill respect for the horse and to build a bond between
horse and rider. This promotes confidence and
independence in the student. Horseback riding lessons
should provide a non-competitive atmosphere where goals can
be set and reached on a personal level. All riding
lessons are private, one hour classes.
Sea Ridge Farms
has several safe,
well-trained horses that are used in our riding program.
They are experienced in working with beginner level riders
and are perfect for developing the first sense of trust in
the horse. We also have horses for the more
experienced rider who is interested in challenging
themselves.
We also provide trail
riding on the well manicured bridle paths that criss-cross
around Wellington. For the rider who is not interested
in the more intense riding lesson, this is a relaxing hour
with a gentle, well-trained horse and supervised by an
experienced trainer. You will see plenty of Florida's
natural habitat including palm trees, orchids, turtles and
maybe even the occasional gator! All lesson horses
have been ridden extensively on the Wellington trails.
